Hi! I’m Lexi, a content-led UX strategist.

After establishing the writing competency our design org relies on, the focus shifted to scaling those systems. Most days involve partnering with designers to untangle complex architectural problems and ensure content integrity at scale.

My Approach

If too many words are needed, refine the design. If that doesn’t solve our issue, double-check the workflow.

Mentorship

I leverage 1:1 mentorship with designers to identify systemic friction points, turning recurring questions into high-impact documentation and governance frameworks that empower the entire org.

Iterative

I treat content as a design primitive. By applying an iterative, UX-first approach, I ensure that language and layout evolve in lockstep, reducing cognitive load and ensuring the final product is as functional as it is intuitive.

Cross-Collaborative

I speak 'Developer.' I bridge the gap between design intent and back-end feasibility, ensuring content choices are architecturally sound and that documentation serves as a reliable 'source of truth' for both designers and engineers

AI as a Thinking Partner

I use AI not to replace an organization’s voice, but to help quickly iterate within content guidelines and move beyond the obvious.

UX Writing Competency

1:20 designer to writer ratio

Context: My organization had zero content structure or consistency. I noticed.

Problem: Inconsistent messaging, copy, and tone. User feedback was saying errors were unhelpful. Users would have to message each other on teams to decode errors. Yikes.

How I fixed it: Created a slack channel with all designers and became writing consultant for the team, as well as final approver, which has been active for 2 years

The impact: 20 designers, and their dev teams, now had a consistent content foundation to build on.

Strategic Impact

Content Design

Scaled a UX Writing competency, becoming the source of truth for 20 designers and over 30 dev teams. .
